This book tells the story of Corrie Ten Boom's life before "The Hiding Place". She was a precious human being and I feel it's a privilege to know her as well as this books lets us.

The Ten Boom family is one of my favorites! I enjoyed this book, as I have all the rest of Corrie's books that I've read. She and her family make me realize I do not know what it is to truly sacrifice for others.
