George Lefferts is a three-time Emmy Award winning writer, producer and director of television dramas, motion pictures, radio dramas, documentaries and plays. He is a former columnist for The New York Observer.
He was a frequent writer (adaptations of short stories and original scripts) for the science fiction radio programs Dimension X and X Minus One.[1] [2]
Lefferts also created and served as a scriptwriter for the Frank Sinatra radio drama, Rocky Fortune, in 1953 and 1954.
In 1975, he was a producer of Ryan's Hope. He was executive producer of the ABC medical drama, Breaking Point, which aired during the 1963-1964 television season.
He is a scriptwriter for Family Album, U.S.A. educational series.
