Absolutely unputdownable. A very well written book with an interesting premise, that of an open adoption that goes wrong; the best of intentions of all the concerned parties converge in chaos, heartbreak, and ultimately - redemption. Recommended!

Wonderful book about a girl who doesn't seem to fit in any place. The daughter of overprotective parents who have planned her life for her without much consideration of what she wants. However, she becomes involved with the bad boy at school and they fall in love. She becomes pregnant and their families tear them apart. She decides to have an open adoption with a family she picks. This too creates chaos for everyone involved. She finally gets her life together and everyone's life turns to chaos again. Her, her parents, the daughter she gave up, the adoptive parents who ran away, and the father to her daughter...whom she still loves.

Excellent book! I couldn't put it down. Realistic story about adoption and multiple families trying to find out what exactly defines a person as a parent. I didn't think it was possible for a book to stir such emotions in me.

This was a really enjoyable, easy read. The author shows you all sides of the story, and you can relate to & believe each character. I really liked the resolution and am looking forward to reading another book by this author.

Oh, I loved this book! And while this book was thematically similar to that last book I read [The Things We Do For Love], it was better written, had stronger characters and was all in all better executed. I even bought another one of her books today! I really enjoyed this one - even if it sort of had a loose ending.
