The ex-cons seem to have a hit - now that the restaurant is called The Hard Time Cafe. Then one of them, Chester Tomzak, gets into trouble. Father Joe lies unconscious in the alley. And there's Tomzak standing over him, holding a bag of cash from the restaurant.
Tomzak sure does look guilty. He claims that he saw a tall man running from the scene. But when Father Joe wakes up, he won't say who attacked him. Sister Matty wants to help Tomzak clear his name. To do so, she and Tomzak must find the tall man.
