Hi everyone,

This is my very first post!

I'm looking for a historical romance book but I don't remember the title of the book OR the author. It's driving me crazy and I honestly can't remember why I want to find it I just want to for some reason ;0) The broad strokes of the story involve a soldier named Devon (I think) who is injured and nearly loses his arm in the war. The woman he loves has no idea he's so seriously injured and turns him down when he offers the love of a one armed soldier. She finds out he might lose his arm, but doesn't tell him, vows her love and they end up together. He has surgery and his arm is saved. Does this sound familar to anyone?

I'm beginning to think I made it all up.

Could it possibly be Heart's Wager by Gayle Wilson?  I haven't read it, but it sounds like a likely candidate.

Oh - there's not a lot of info there, so here's the Amazon link: The Heart's Wager (Harlequin Historical #263)

Yes, X-Men.  Hugh Jackman in the movies, which is all ya need ta know:P  There's a new one coming out pretty soon about Wolverine - called "Wolverine", lol.  I forget when; around the 1st of next month, I think, but I'm sure there's a website up for it with all the details.  The trailers I saw looked pretty darned cool.  I just haven't had much time lately to look at movie stuff.  I haven't even seen Australia yet, and not seeing a new Hugh Jackman flick is pretty much unheard of for me:P

My co-workers make fun of me because I love Hugh Jackman - I couldn't care less ;0)

X-Men-Origins is a no brainer for me, Hugh, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch and Daniel Henney. I'm prepared to sit in the theater and drool.
