Hennie Aucamp (born 20 Januarie 1934 in Dordrecht, Eastern Cape) is an Afrikaans poet, short story writer, cabaretist and academic. He grew up on a farm in the Stormberg highlands and matriculated in Jamestown before continuing his higher education at the University of Stellenbosch. He is one of very few writers to achieve success over a wide range of genres including fiction, poetry, lyrics, cabaret and essays.
