Kathleen Krull (born July 29, 1952) is an author of children's books.
Krull was born in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri in 1952 and grew up in Wilmette, Illinois. She graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, majoring in English.
Krull worked as an editor for Western Publishing from 1974 to 1980, editing and writing books in the Trixie Belden series. She then moved to San Diego, where she established herself as a children's book author.
In 2004, Krull won a Jane Addams Children's Book Award in the Picture Book category for Harvesting Hope: The Story of Cesar Chavez with illustrator Yuyi Morales.She was known for writing the book Lives of the Presidents FAME, SHAME with illustrator Kathryn Hewitt story about the president's history.
