This is a terrific little book to tuck into my knitting bag and take with me when I go out and bring knitting. It has lots of humor and insight and food for thought. Some of the humor was funny enough that I could share it with my Husband. I'm keeping this around for a while.

An at times laugh-out-loud funny collection of wit about the obsession of knitting. Unlike the author, I am not an obsessive knitter; there are many things I would rather do. But although I don't see myself in her reflections, I am none the less amused by this little book. In fact, its size and the brevity of the pieces it contains, makes it a perfect book to toss in your bag and pull out and read a few snippets when waiting - either in a waiting room or even in the checkout line at the supermarket. HIghly recommended!

Cute. This is a small book (about4x6") - makes a nice little gift for a knitter.

The contents is cutesy/funny-to-moderately-substantial, lots of quotes and interesting tidbits.

The book is filled with funny meditations (and sometimes they hit rather close to home). A great little book to browse through, rather than read all at once. I'll be keeping this one in my knitting bag for a long time.

You know you knit too much when...you can relate to pretty much everything in this CD and your find yourself nodding vigorously as you're sitting in heavy traffic. Bet the drivers around me wished they had such an agreeable CD!

I really enjoy this book a lot it was funny and so true.
Experience palpitations when passing a yarn shop? Sneak new yarn purchases into the house? Utter the words "just one more row"? Plan your vacation around yarn store locations? Secretly scope out new spots to store your stash? If you answered "yes" to one or more of these, you are at risk of becoming an obsessive knitter. This totally incurable condition is sure to be helped by Stephanie Pearl- McPhee's humorous and hearfelt "meditations" Her tangled reflections on the knitters life will keep you in stitches and unravel your tensions for many warm and woolly moments to come.

Meditations for women who knit too much.
Each page is a different personal account, mostly humorous (Erma Bombeck for instance)
