I just posted this book to my tbr list, but it doesn't show it as a Large Print....

Nights in Rodanthe :: Nicholas Sparks
ISBN-13: 9780375728228 - ISBN-10: 0375728228

I also posted  another large print, and that one shows that it is a large print.

??? ? ???

The Publisher of this shows as "Random House Large Print".

One thing you can do is edit the book data. On the book listing page, go to More Options, then to Edit Book Data. There is a checkmark about halfway down that indicates a book is large print. It apparently should be checked for this book.

I believe that they also list "(Large Print)" as part of the title on large print books. You can make this correction, too.

Your corrections to the book data will be reviewed and approved by the Book Data team before they are posted into PBS's database.

The Book Data team will need to verify that the ISBN used for this book was never used for the regular print book, in order to change it. I'm guessing that with a publisher of "Random House Large Print" they will be able to do it.

In the edit book data,  please put where you confirmed the number as being only Large Print.  (Some publishers reuse the numbers.)  That helps the volunteers.  And the Book Data Team are all volunteers.  Putting that information in makes the change happen much faster.

To make it more confusing, there are Large Print books AND Larger Print books.  Which is a smaller font than Large Print.  The paperback romances are Larger, which is smaller.

If nothing else, notify the person who orders it before you send it.  I recieved a wishlisted book that was large print but it never said so in the system.  It was a bit annoying, but I didn't complain only because I had been waiting so long for the book.  It would've been nice to have known though.

Sometimes the publisher uses the same ISBN for several editions, like regular print and large print - sometimes even for audio!  Please do send an edit through on this (if you haven't already)  - - in the Reason for Edit box, if you would note the places you searched, such as B&N, WorldCat, Amazon, etc.  it's a big help to approvers.  Of course, if you DO find the ISBN also used for a regular edition, then let us know that also.  Changes depend on many things, such as books being currently posted to the listing...  We are also awaiting some definitive instructions concerning 'Larger Print' books - those have been coming to us from the database with the Large Print indicator and that is a problem for members who truly need Large Print.  There's some info on this topic:  http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/topic.php?t=179136
