Has anyone read this book? They are making the movie of it at the Sun Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale, FL as we speak. My cousin works there and she may be in about 5 seconds of the movie. She hasn't read the book. She's just excited about the atmosphere because the newsroom is now a movie studio. I just was wondering because of course I'll see it when it comes out and I wanted to hear people's thoughts on the book.

I enjoyed the book. If you're a dog lover, chances are you'll enjoy it, too.

Here's an older thread about it, some other opinions: http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/topic.php?t=108967

My husband and I read it together and we really enjoyed it.   The author is a newspaper writer.

I haven't read it, but have been tempted. I'm a huge dog lover!

I really enjoyed the book!  The author's descriptions of some of his dog's antics were so funny!  It just reminded me of some of the things our bassett hound tries to do on a daily basis.

I loved the book. Very, very funny. Sad in places also. I'm really a cat person but enjoyed it anyway. :-)

I loved the book, great for dog lovers - my husband and I both read it too. Devastatingly sad in parts, hit close to home for us with same thing with our dog.  It's a great read!

It's very good and by far, the best dog memoir out there.

My 18 year old granddaughter read and loved it and gave it to me to read. I loved it also so I guess you could say it is a book for all ages :)

Not interested, I don't like dogs so I'm sure this wouldn't be my cup of tea.

I loved the book.  I had a yellow lab and because that breed is so lovable I would like another.
