Per Alice's suggestion, it would be nice to list any upcoming new releases for this year as we are aware of them. Do we want to give this a try? I'll start with one that I'm only too aware of: A Murderous Procession by Ariana Franklin - To be released in April, 2010 |
Elizabeth Chadwick - To Defy a King - May 2010 Phillipa Gregory - Red Queen - August 2010 Captivate, Kill or Destroy - Bernard Cornwell October 2010 Alison Weir - The Captive Queen - July 2010 Sara Donati - The Endless Forest - January 2010 Sally Gunning - The Rebellion of Jane Clarke - June 2010 Stephen Lawhead - The Skin Map - August 2010 Nancy Moser - Masquerade - August 2010 We can all fatten up our WL

Sigh. Why do I open these types of threads? I added several to my wish list, and I've pre-ordered the Franklin, the Weir and the English. The last two are about Eleanor of Acquitaine, so how could I resist? And I so love the Franklin series. I just wishlisted the Cornwell. I know - gasp!! However, that's not a time period I usually love. I can wait. Hopefully he's done with this one so he can return his attention to Uhtred! |

Hey Deb, if you read my first comment, this was originally ALICE'S idea! Since she didn't pick up the ball and run with it, I did! Okay, okay, I'm ducking BIG TIME!! |
yup you can blame me. I already have 200 on my wish list. I have a notebook by my desk that I write the over flow. Might need a second notebook now:) Alice |
Note to all HF writers: STOP!!!! I need to catch up on all the awesome HF I haven't read in the last 20 or so years. Let me catch up and then you can write some more. And those of you who have been faithfully reading all this time, you can just go find some cheapy bodice-rippers or vampire books to read while you wait for me to catch up. |
I have a 9 page list... (many of them have already been mentioned - when I get a chance I"ll have to go through it and see which ones haven't) |
I am not sure how I will ever keep up with all my historical fiction, mysteries and paranormal (and whatever my book club throws at me) At this rate we will need Spark notes for all our new books (I am joking) My daughter is reading Romeo and Juliet in high school, her English teacher told them to read the Sprak Notes if they don't understand the play. I wasn't thrilled. Alice |

I can only imagine what the HF Challenge for 2011 is going to look like....... |
Why is it that I'm already excited for the 2011 Challenge, when I'm only halfway through this year's Challenge #1 and a fraction of the way through Challenge #2? LOL! |

I love looking at the lists at HNS! It's a great resource, especially since it lists all of the H/F being released, not just the ones being published here. I like seeing what other countries have to offer as well. Then, you can order it from the Book Depository and get free shipping; always a good thing! I wish I'd been keeping a list of all the forthcoming books I find instead of being greedy and only taking note of the books I want for myself. I'll stop doing that now that we have this thread! ;-) |
Valli - I've been checking HNS and I don't see a release date for "Heartstone" by C.J. Sansom. Do you have any idea as to when that might be? Or does anybody here? |
Gee, thanks Cathy - although I can't deny what you say!! OK, I"m definately coming back here with "the list". You are all in big trouble now... |
I think Heartstone is coming out in the UK this summer. I don't know the pub date for us yet. I'm looking forward to it too! |
