Good book. Typical Clive Cussler.
Classic Dirk Pitt adventure.
Great book in the Dirk Pitt action-adventure series
Excellent book for Dirk Pitt fans!!!
Clive Cussler is a favorite. He takes a particle of truth and builds an entirely believable story...makes me wonder...? This is a wonderful read.
Another underwater Adventure with my Favorite character...I think I'm in love>>>>>
Great Clive Cussler. Even got my hubby to reading Clive's books. He loves each and every one of them.
What do a turn-of-the-century locomotive, a British secret agent, old documents, an oil problem in the U. S. and Dirk Pitt have to do with each other? A good read which will keep you puzzling till almost the last page!
This is just one of a series written by Clive Cussler and I have always found them to be very intertaining and have read the entire series. Always hoping for another to be added to the series.
I really liked this book as well as all of Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt adventures.
FROM THE PUBLISHER
Dirk Pitt proved invincible in RAISE THE TITANIC! Now, with the future of virtually every person in the world at stake, he is enlisted to spearhead his most daring mission yet - the rescue of a vital document for the United States. To an energy-starved, economically devastated America, possession of this document is worth billions. But to Great Britain, it's worth a war. Pitt's quest plunges him into a head-to-head confrontation with Britain's most cunning secret agent - and into the throes of a torrid love triangle. As time runs out for a desperate America, Dirk Pitt races toward an underwater clash more terrifying than anything Clive Cussler has ever created - the breathtaking climax of Night Probe!
I love Dirk Pitt books and this is one of my favorites. Its a great mystery with an interesting premise.
For those who have read some of the "Dirk Pitt" adventures, you will find this a fun throw back. Set in the future year "1989" this book assumes we are all driving electric cars and the worlds oil is mostly used up. Don't let this worry you though, as Clive Cussler manages to add enough twists and turns to keep the story interesting... especially the "ghost train".
If you like the Dirk Pitt stories then I recommend you revisit this period and enjoy it all again.
Another great Dirk Pitt adventure novel by the author of RAISE THE TITANIC!
