For those who have read some of the "Dirk Pitt" adventures, you will find this a fun throw back. Set in the future year "1989" this book assumes we are all driving electric cars and the worlds oil is mostly used up. Don't let this worry you though, as Clive Cussler manages to add enough twists and turns to keep the story interesting... especially the "ghost train".

If you like the Dirk Pitt stories then I recommend you revisit this period and enjoy it all again.
