Berry Baker, popular hospital radio DJ, couldn't understand how her plan to raise money for a children's ward at St. Luke's Hospital had turned into a contest for control--between her and Julian Vyse, the senior medical consultant.

Or had Berry thrown up battle lines because Julian had flirted with her, kissed her and threatened to crack her protective shell?
