I am not a fan of romance novels, and I'm pretty sure this falls into the romance genre. BUT, I do like time travel and scifi/fantasy plotlines. There are few holes in the premise, but it is a fun read and a fascinating concept.

Jordan has spent her life pursuing the promises of science, but a failed marriage and an equally disappointing project leave her logical mind at a loss. She wonders if her sanity is completely shot when a painting on her wall comes to life and out of it steps a young man who grabs her and takes her back through the image. She finds herself in a future far different than she would have imagined, and in the arms of the love of a lifetime. Fobes, with her mystical take on time travel, presents a refreshing futuristic romance, and launches a new series. Although some external conflicts are too easily resolved, and a couple of scenes seem out of place, overall this romance is a pleasing diversion, and the overarching story line will keep readers wanting more

Jordan was from the past and Conlean from the future..he painted her portrait for his father and then he goes to get her only to find his feelings are growing for her instead. She needs to find a cure for the infertility problem that exists in the future and marry another man. Conlean has a duty to paint portraits...
