I love the theme of an old camp or resort being refurbished and hero where heroine meet, like the Susan Wiggs Lakeside series. Are there more you can think of for me to try?

Ohhh, i cannot think of the title of the book right now or the author (i'm so sorry i know this doesn't help!) I read it years ago and it was about a woman who's husband cheated and she needed to get away from it all and try to sort things out for herself. She hears about an old bar/dancehall/ summer resort that she worked at as a teen was in desperate need of repair and was for sale. She moves there for the summer hoping to find the one true love she let get away, only he had passed away years before. Instead she finds his grown son and finds herself falling for him....... I want to say it's a Kristin Hannah book but i'm not sure. "On Mystic Lake" doesn't really describe the same storyline. I will try to do some more thinking and looking to see if i can find it.

UPDATE.......found it!!!

I enjoyed this series by Sheryl Woods. the first book is about renovating an inn.

There is also another book I read recently but from the library so I can't remember the title. I will look next time and write it down.

Can't remember if any renovation goes on in the story, but there's This Heart of Mine by SEP.  And there's talk about renovation in Manhunting by Jennifer Crusie.

The Inn on Lake Devine is a really great romance/novel.  I can't really say it is about renovation of the property, but definitely of the minds of the owners.

Seaview Inn by Sherryl Woods

Black Sheep and the Princess by Donna Kauffman (also available in Trade Size)

I'm also enjoying The Lakeshore Chronicles series by Susan Wiggs. Just finished The Summer Hideaway. Tissues required.

One of the last few Virgin River books by Robyn Carr kind of had that theme.

Pamela, I LOVE The Inn at Lake Devine! Have you read Then She Found Me? That's my favorite by Lipman.

Not about an inn or b&b but Tribute by Nora Roberts is about a woman who inherits her grandmothers home and does the renovating herself.

I just finished Bitsy's Bait and BBQ by Pamela Morsi.  If you like the Susan Wiggs series, I think you will enjoy this one.  It was so funny, I laughed out loud.  Really great characters.
