I absoutely loved this book. At first I was hesitant to read it from the way it started out but as I kept with it I felt really drawn to the characters. I especially loved Penny's attitude and that of her aunt. Sharon's character appealed to the serious side of me. We all need Sisterchicks in our lives--looking forward to the next in the series!

I have to say that I MOSTLY enjoyed this book. It was a cute story, but it was very short on the spiritual meaning. I didn't think it was too different than many of the secular books around. Compared to the Yada Yada books, for example, this book was a spiritual lightweight. However, as I said, it was a cute story, and I'd say it'd be fun to read after a hard day or on vacation.

Everyone who has a close woman friend can relate to this book. A charming story & makes you want to take a trip with your best friend. Sometimes funny, you will be laughing out loud & sometimes sad, but a real good story. Ms Gunn writes so well makes you feel like you know the characters. A good feel good book. Recommended for book clubs. You won't be sorry.

Read this for a book club and did enjoy it - light, fluffy reading but with a message. Liked the characters and laughed at some of the adventures they had. The message was woven very skillfully into the story and didn't hit you over the head with it. Would recommend.
