I haven't read the first book in the series but having read Fox's Biker Witches Mystery series, I knew I'd enjoy this one too. As always her characters have you laughing out loud. Verity's pet skunk is adorable and side-kick ghost, Frankie is a force to be reckoned with. Having grown up with Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys mysteries, getting a chance to help Verity look for clues and find out why and who killed Darla Grace was pretty awesome. There's just enough romance to keep it interesting and gotta love the ghosts at the library even though they seem destined to relive the last moments of their life. Though there is a previous book in the series, there is enough back story to still make reading this one an enjoyable and fun read. I will go back and read book one though just because it was so fun.
