Wow, this was a very good but depressing book with a good ending. About a girl who makes her living as a prostitute and uses most of her $ for heroin.

An excellent book about addiction and the power that heroin can have over your mind and body.

I loved this book, memoir about a life spinning out of control through heroin use, and a subsequent entry into the life of prostitution. Unflinching.

Excellent and disturbing at the same time. It was interesting to see the author's progression from "normal" to her new "normal" during her addiction to heroin. The ways she supported her addiction may shock some readers.
This book is not for the faint of heart or those who are unable/ unwilling to read frank descriptions of sexual situations and acts.
I thought it well written and I was unable to put the book down. I read it in about 1.5 days. If you enjoy ready gritty memoirs of the human condition, you will likely love this book.
