This is a well told story of a New York writer who went to work for Mario Batali at Babbo before journeying to Italy to learn more about the food and the language. He learns pasta and butchering as told with insight and humor. Prepare to be hungry.

An excellent book on dating and food. Giulia describes her boyfriends with a dash of recipes scattered throughout. As you find yourself seeing a little bit of your relationships through the author, you can cook yourself a wonderful meal.

This is a very sexy book. And a great mystery. Part Martha Stewart, part Carmen Electra, Autumn Adams who is under the protection of sexy Detective Quinn takes you on a great read.

This novel was very well written. Told from four different characters points of view on why their lives have become not "worth living". You would not expect the topic matter to be humorous but it is a funny and uplifting read.

If you like Gabriel Garcia Marquez you will love Moonlight on the Avenue of Faith. The story follows Roxanna, born a bad luck child in Tehran, through her life in the ghettos of Tehran through the aristocracy. Then to Turkey and finally to Los Angeles. She leaves her daughter in Tehran only to reunite in LA. Reads like magic.

I first heard about this story on Lifetime. What an interesting premise. Three teenaged girls have a pregnancy pact which stretches the ties of mother - daughter relationships and brings about love and forgiveness.
