Soul Catcher
Author: Frank Herbert
No longer Charles Hobuhet, imitation white man, he was Katsuk, the center, the core from which all perception radiates.  And his victim was David Marshall, thirteen-year-old son of an Undersecretary of State -- an innocent from the modern white world chosen for an ancient sacrifice of vengeance.

This is a story involving a young boy, kidnapped by a man and taken on a strange journey both outwardly and inwardly. The climax is incredible and shocking. A short, but masterful read from Herbert.
