Zoe's a security specialist and a Costas through and through. Her eccentric, rather dubious family runs an Atlantic City Spa that's just this side of legit. So Zoe isn't inclined to trust handsome, charming Ryan Baldwin when he shows up claiming to be related to Sam, the girl the Costas family is about to adopt. But Ryan is Sam's uncle and one of the famously rich and snooty Boston Baldwins.
Ryan's search for his sister Faith has led him to news of her death, and to a niece he's never met. But someone else has also tracked Sam down-someone who never wanted the child to be found. Ryan is determined to protect Sam and find out what really happened to his sister, and Zoe "Whatever-it-Takes" Costas is just the woman to help him do it.

Quick fun read about Zoe Costas and her zany family. Zoe faces losing her foster sister Sam and her heart when someone from Sam's past resurfaces. A small mystery is thrown into the mix for good measure. Entertaining.

This is the follow up to "Under the Boardwalk". THANK YOU CARLY PHILLIPS for bringing us even MORE of the crazy Costas family and all the wild things that they do in the name of family and love. Zoe Costas is just trying to figure out her place in the world and her place in love. With the help of her family, a crazy monkey, a foster kid and a hot preppie named Ryan, she finds her way to her own kind of bliss.

Great read with laughs and love. Carly Phillips delivers again!

Zoe Costas is from a very eccentric, rather dubious family who are Greek through and through. They are in the process of trying to adopt a young girl whose mother died and "Sam" is quite a handful. Soon a man shows up, Sam's Uncle, who has been looking for his niece and has doubts about the Costas family. They think he is the Social Worker who is there to check out the family, and he doesn't tell them the truth, that he wants to take Sam back to his Upper Crust family in Boston. It gets rather complicated after Zoe realizes who he really is. Very good book, fast read. I really liked it.
