Interesting take on Dracula. I loved Glynis! She was spunky, sarcastic, and strong-willed in a time when those traits were not good for a woman to possess. Vlad Dracul was definitely an alpha male - but not in a good way. He was overbearing, possessive, and cruel. Fitting for his character, but he never became someone you could like.

This book is so ridiculously good, I wish I could give it 10 stars. It's so good, it brought tears to my eyes. You will not be able to put this book down. It may be a sacriledge to say this, but in my opinion, this book is as good as Bram Stoker's Dracula. Don't let the cover fool you, this is gothic horror at it's best. If you are a fan of classic vampire literature, you NEED to read this book.
