This is an excellent book for young adults! It tells the story of one girl who has to grow up during the American revolution. Great historical fiction by an amazing author!

I finished this book very quickly, mainly because I could not put it down. The characters really grow on you and the book gracefully flows from one year in the war to the next. Although the relationship between the 2 main characters wasn't the greatest, Time Enough for Drums is a great Ann Rinaldi novel with just enough romance, history, action, drama and suspense.

One of my favorite books. I read it when I was in high school but still enjoy it as an adult. The history is fascinating and the love story is incredibly romantic. Great book for moms and daughters to read and discuss!
