I love this book. I'm a huge fan of L.M Montgomery. This isn't like the Anne of Avonlea books but it is funny and sweet. The characters are unique and some of the scenes are downright hilarious. I will read this one many times in my life.

The Duggars: 20 and Counting! Raising One of America's Largest Families

I liked the show so decided to buy the book. It was a fun and interesting read. I loved learning more about how Michelle organizes such a large family. Some of the ideas wouldn't work for a regular-sized family but a lot of them could be applied in anyone's home.

I really enjoyed this book. Loved the authentic Southern setting and all the rich details. Very interesting look at a different era and the similarities and differences between the well-to-do white women and the black women who worked for them. I highly recommend!

I really don't like Kate Gosselin but this book almost made me change my mind. On paper she comes across much more humble, thoughtful and calm. I'm not sure which Kate is the real Kate but I did enjoy seeing this side of her. Lots of touching stories about the kids and some more details about the breakdown of her marriage.

I really enjoyed the movie of the same title. I hated this book. Or, rather I should say I hated the first two chapters. I couldn't make it any farther than that. The author was crass, obnoxious and unlikable. Maybe there is more food talk later on in the book but all I got out of it was a lot of sex talk. Rare case of a movie being better than the book.

I loved this series. I felt it was in keeping with the original P and P while providing extra information and allowing us to see the story from Darcy's perspective. Some of the situations and drama in book two seemed a little contrived and not necessary but the overall romance and storyline was wonderful. I loaned them all my family members who are huge P and P fans as well. I truly fell in love with Darcy all over again after reading these.

One of my favorite books. I read it when I was in high school but still enjoy it as an adult. The history is fascinating and the love story is incredibly romantic. Great book for moms and daughters to read and discuss!
