This book was terrible, the plot dragged on and on, and i never did care about any of the chacters. I gave up on it about 2/3 of the way through. Take it from me, and dont waste your valuable book credit on this unless you are prepared to be bored stiff for 320 dull and lifeless pages.
Blah........ I dont think i would ever read anything from this writer again.
Having bought this book in hardcover when it was first released, i now wished i had gone to the movies or bought a big mac. what a waste!

This is a really good "chick lit" read. I was expecting something a little frothier, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was an intelligently written book, with more funny bits (and sad bits) than I was expecting. Some really great observations about people and relationships in this book.

I was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't your basic chick lit. Well-written and not formulaic at all. I will confess I was slightly disappointed at the lack of "revenge" hinted at on the front cover...but still a great read.

I read this book a long time ago but I remember enjoying it quite a bit. It's about a woman who finds out her fiance has another 2 fiances.

I didn't find this book the typical chick lit. From the back cover blurb, I gathered that Sandra Berlin's world came to a dizzying halt when she discovered that her fiance (whom she had dated since high school) had TWO other fiancees. So I kind of assumed that what would follow would be the three offended women plotting all sorts of lovely revenge. This is not the path the book takes. I actually found the book a little dark and depressing, the romance that Sandra embarks on with a new man frustrating and annoying. I did not find this to be light, mildly comic fiction and while I read the book to the end, I didn't complete it with a smile or sense of satisfaction. I wouldn't discourage anyone from reading it---it is a well-done book---but if you are looking for light humor and a clear-cut "happily-ever after", then I might look to a different writer and save this novel for a more introspective time.

Quirky funny novel about a girl who finds out her fiance is cheating on her and then her life adjusting to it following including adventures with her best friend, Paul, and a new romance.
I stayed up two nights in a row reading for hours losing track of time with this book-- an excellent chick lit read. :)
