Bitterly funny, whip-smart and poignant. I've never had the pleasure of sitting next to anyone on a plane who was as remotely interesting and entertaining as the author of this must be. There's definitely an overall darkness to it but the way it's told allows you to enjoy it without getting too caught up in that.. unless you want to.

This was a good book, but I didn't love it. The writer lost me a bit and the story didn't turn out the way I thought.

Okay read but if you are expecting anything remotely like the movie, this book is not for you. The only part that is the same is the name of the lead character. No romance, no traveling partner just Ryan Bingham. But if you think it is a comedy and light hearted you are in for a rude awakening
