Read this book in 2 days. As always, Larry Watson books always make me want to read one more chapter at night and this was like that as well. Very descriptive and a real nice read.

I enjoy Ethan Hawke as an actor so I thought I would give this book a read. It was a good premise but I just could not feel for the two main characters. Both had no redeeming qualities and I saw no reason to hope things worked out for them. I finished this book but it was a struggle. Maybe someone else will see something in it that I did not. Good luck!!

A modern day Fairy Tale!! A vivid imagination and the idea of destined love is the center of this wonderful but short read. Makes you yearn for family and forgiveness. One of my favorite books. Enjoy:)

Started reading and finished in two nights. If you are a grand parent you may really feel the angst that George and Margaret feel when their only grand child moves away with their son's widow after she remarries. The white trash that she moves in with is a harrowing group and extremely aggressive. You can almost feel the futility and anger in every page. This is a book about love, loss and the ultimate self sacrifice you can make for a mate or a child. I actually teared up at the end:) By far his best book!!!!!!

A very nice story about finding things you are missing in your life and how life can change in knowing there are people out there just like you. I always enjoy Lisa Jewell's books and would put this one close to the top of my list. Read in two days:)

Got half way through and could get no further. Love most of this author's work, but this one took way to long getting anywhere. Being as it is his first book I will cut him some slack but his future writings, especially his war stories, are much more vivid and actually have some action involved.

I had to finish this book just to see if there was any redeeming quality to it. There wasn't. Depressing from beginning to end. If you are in to that kind of writing you will enjoy this.

Really enjoyed this book as I do all of Lisa's books. My only peeve is that I ordered what i thought was a new Lisa Jewell book, 31 Dream Street, but it turned out to be this book only with a different title. What is that all about? Would recommend this book by either title. I do have an extra copy now:)

This is the only book that I have ever ordered here on PBS that after reading one story, I hate to admit it, but I just threw it in the garbage. Literally!!!! I could not subject anyone else to this ramblings with a good conscience. Not one bit of erotica or good writing. I did you all a favor by at least getting one copy out of circulation:(

I have really enjoyed all of Lisa Jewells books but some where along the line she got away from light and airy romances and turned extremely dark and sad. I still enjoy her writing but there was one chapter that absolutely cut me to the core and made me reevaluate my reading choices. If you read this book you will know what I am referring to. Great writer always but I miss the love stories.

Okay read but if you are expecting anything remotely like the movie, this book is not for you. The only part that is the same is the name of the lead character. No romance, no traveling partner just Ryan Bingham. But if you think it is a comedy and light hearted you are in for a rude awakening
