I just mailed out True Grit today.  And I thought it was very good!

I just mailed Circle of Quilters, one of the Elm Creek Quilter books, and yes, it was very good.  I really like that series.

I mailed out The Secret History today and was actually a little sad to see it go.  I thought it was a fantastic read and will probably end up requesting it again at some point because I know I will want to read it another time at least!

Ice Trap by Kitty Sewel (a total waste of valuable reading time).  As a side note, tucked inside the book was my insurance bill.  How dumb can I be?!

The Rage: Forgotten Realms Year of Rogue Dragons Bk 1 by Richard Lee Byers.  I dunno personally if it was any good because it was my hubby's.  He didn't say it was bad but just didn't like the characters in these ones.

I just mailed out Jacqueline Mitchard's Theory of Relativity and Susan Green's The Fiction Class.  I didn't read either book thoroughly.  Just glanced through them.

I mailed out an audio by Janet Evanovich, Hard Eight.  I loved it.  Not crazy about the books, but loved the audio.

I just mailed out Empire by Orson Scott Card.  It was a good read (the fortieth book I've read by Card) but a hardcover.  I prefer paperbacks for portability and storage.

I mailed off Better Read Than Dead by Victoria Laurie this afternoon.

This is the second book in the Psychic Eye series and I enjoyed it but I liked the first one better.

The latest book I mailed out was Phantom by Susan McKay--it's like a life story of the Phantom of the Opera, and it was SO good. I'm not even a particular Phantom fan (phan?) but I still thought it was wonderful. Sad, but wonderful.

Sara, I read The Secret History last month and I was really impressed with it. I loved the Greek tragedy theme and motifs.

I just sent:  Sixteen Trends, Their Profound Impact on Our Future: Implications for Students, Education, Communities, Countries, and the Whole of Society  sounds dry, but it was interesting.

I also sent out a romance novel in Spanish.  I hate romance novels, but I was desperate for a read while I was in Puerto Rico.  :)  I'll read anything when I'm desperate...you know cereal boxes etc.  lol :)

I'm sending out Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix tomorrow.  I liked it, I found I had an extra copy and I knew people were wishing for it.

The last one I sent was Mr & Mrs Bo Jo Jones by Ann Head.  Frankly, the only reason I finished it was because I was on an airplane and had nothing better to do.

I just mailed The Time Traveler's Wife. I loved this book and read it 3 times (over a couple of years) before I decided to list it here. I hope that the person who will receive it loves it as much as I do!

I mailed out Death in the Valley of Shadows, I don't know if it was any good.  I had intended on reading it but it was far down my TBR pile so I posted it since I knew there were wishes on it.  I hope the nice woman I mailed it to enjoys it.

I mailed out Rusty Nail by J.A. Konrath,  3rd in the "Jack Daniels" series.  I liked the first, but by third, felt it had too much gratuitous gore and contrived violence.  The bad guys were a repeat of the 2nd book.  Some reviewers thought it was the "best book ever", so go figure.

I just mailed out Constructing Accessible Web Sites. It was boring, but it was a textbook I had for a class about teaching online classes.

I need to mail out "The Raging Quiet" by Sherryl Jordan (a YA historical fiction that I LOVED) and "The Unknown Terrorist" by Richard Flanagan, which I didn't read.

I mailed "Those Who Save Us" today.  I should have done it yesterday, but was unable to do so.  It was a great book written by a half/German, half/Jewish woman who paints the holocaust from both perspectives.

I really enjoyed 'The Secret History' as well. I have two books here packaged and ready to go. 'The Lives of the Muses' which was more densely written than I had imagined, so I ended up skimming it, and 'Forgive Me', a novel by Amanda Eyre Ward, which I read quickly and thoroughly enjoyed.

I sent out Seduction in Death and Murder on a Girls Night Out, both books I read awhile ago. Love J. D. Robb's books and am enjoying Ann George also.

I just mailed out 4 vegatarian cookbooks.   I never found one recipe that was a keeper.  I hope the new owners have much better luck.  Also, an erotica book that I didn't read all the way through.  Short stories, not my thing.

I just mailed out Broken for You by Stephanie Kallos, a real gem of a book. I got it in a bookshelf exchange at work and could not believe how much I liked it when I read it---took me a while to decide to post it. One of those unsung, well written and very poignant novels--I couldn't figure out why there wasn't more buzz about it.

I mailed The Pillars of the Earth.  I read about 300-400 pages or so and was very disappointed.  After the first rape scene, I read through some of the more critical reviews on Amazon.com and decided I wasn't going to even try to finish the book.  I have a gazillion to be read books and I don't worry about finishing novels anymore.
