Surprisingly enough, this has some really good recipes. Very basic, downhome type stuff, but things most of us grew up with. I didn't know my family was white trash until I read this book.

Really, it is a funny book, too, and the only one I've ever seen with a recipe for roast possum (come to my house and catch the possums for this one) plus some squirrel recipes, 'gator tail and a couple for 'cooter'...whatever the heck that is.

This book will give you lots of laughs and some good eats in the bargain. Happy cookin.'

This could be about the food and the way of life that you were brought up to believe in--is for me!

Funny, heartwarming book. More than a cookbook!

This is a collection of down-home, cooked in the kettle, passed from Gramaw to Maw recipes. Trailer park soul food! Good stuff! Fill your belly and your brain to see how the "other half" eats.

Good down-home cooking. Recipes that remind you of your childhood as well as some modern ones.
