Beautifully poignant, sad and funny....Lisa writes about her husband, Patrick Swayze and their fight against pancreatic cancer. If you read this, reading Patrick Swayze's The Time of My Life is best read first....then it is a continuing story of Patrick's childhood and ends just as his diagnosis...reading the next book shows absolute love and strength and the long struggle they had together.

As a huge Patrick Swayze fan, I really wanted to read this. As a wife of 10 years, I really wanted to read this. It was a gripping depiction of Patrick's triumphs and trials during his time with pancreatic cancer.

I could feel the love for my own husband the way Lisa described her love for Patrick. I could feel what I would feel if I were in her shoes.

I just finished the book today (took just 4 days with 3 little children to read!) and cried. I immediately called my husband and told him I love him.

It's amazing what we'll go through for life.

Loved the book.
