Wow! I didn't really know what to expect when I started reading this. It was the first book by this author that I've read. I've already requested the rest of her books!

It's mysterious and heart-fealt. A true gem!
You must read it!

I thought this would be a book more for men. But, if Oprah liked it, why wouldn't I? I truly found that I could NOT put it down! There were times I was reading that I needed to stop and check myself for breating! I would hold my breath through certain "scenes". Amazing! Well written. I have since read many of Ken Follett's books and just sincerely enjoy them! I wish my husband would read more. I think he'd really like these books too!

I thoroughly loved all of Philippa Gregory's Tudor Novels. It seems every book of hers that I pick up has captured me. Not so with this one. I forced myself through half the book, then gave up on it. I hope to not have to give up on any of her other books, as I have them all waiting for me to read. :)

Wow! This is a very good novel. The author went to great lengths to aquire real stories and facts about circus life. It shows in her writing. I love how she portrays the old man and the switching between him and his younger life is smooth. This was a page turner. Last night, with about 1/2 the book left and 20 minutes to read, I sat down with it. An hour and a half later, I had finished the book. And it left me smiling. Now, today, I can't get the characters out of my head. I wish there was more!

As a huge Patrick Swayze fan, I really wanted to read this. As a wife of 10 years, I really wanted to read this. It was a gripping depiction of Patrick's triumphs and trials during his time with pancreatic cancer.

I could feel the love for my own husband the way Lisa described her love for Patrick. I could feel what I would feel if I were in her shoes.

I just finished the book today (took just 4 days with 3 little children to read!) and cried. I immediately called my husband and told him I love him.

It's amazing what we'll go through for life.

Loved the book.
