Book Description:
A Clean Slate chronicles the days of Kelly McGraw, a Chicago woman who suddenly can't remember the last five months of her life, a time when she was dumped by her soon-to-be fiance and laid off by the company she thought would make her partner. Overwhelmed and confused but otherwise feeling wonderful, she begins to realize that she has a clean slate in life. She can do anything she wants, go anywhere she wants, be anything she wants. But what, exactly, does she want?
Follow Kelly on a journey that includes her search to discover what caused her memory loss, an internship with a bad-boy British photographer, a Caribbean photo shoot, her boyfriend's desire to come crawling back and, eventually, a brutal discovery that will cause her to reevaluate both her old and new lives.

A really good book, especially for anyone recovering from depression or just wanting to start their life over. Not to mention it's just plain good Chick Lit. It's so good that after I started reading it, and realized I'd read it a few years ago, I kept on until the end!

This was an enjoyable read, if not the best written book ever. It does make you think about your own life, the choices you've made and what you'd do differently if given the chance. The author is local to Chicago and knows the city well, making the setting read quite credible. Overall, I'd say it's worth a read, especially if you're going through some major life changes and want a protagonist you can relate to.

Everyone's dream to be able to "start over". Enjoyed this book about a girl who learns how to follow her dreams.

I really liked this book. It's about a woman who loses her memory and the life she has after her memory loss. Getting to start over doing things you wouldn't normally do. Great book.

Unusual for chick-lit. When the book opens Kelly is completely disoriented, finally realizing that she has had a loss of memory of the past 5 months. She remembers an awful day - her about-to-be fiance turning into an ex-boyfriend hours after losing her status job. But then what?

I was hooked on this book from the begining. It's about kelly who loese her memory after the death of her sister.
