any fan of Clive Cussler will know that this is another good book. The idea of the lost city of Atlantis being found is a premise that other authors have tried to do but not with Cusslers expertize about the oceans.

A nifty little Dirk Pitt thriller. As with most of Cussler's stories, the science and archeology can be a little iffy, but that plot and action are good old school adventure.

Dirk Pitt is the rarest of individuals without whom the world could not survive. He is a man of swift, decisive action who lives by his honor, forever standing watch on the front lines in the enduring war between good & evil. As the son of a U.S. Sen, grad. of the Air Force Acad. & special projects director for the U.S. National Underwater & Marine Agency, his courage & cool under fire are matched only by his forceful nature & ferocious determination to do whatever is necessary. Pitt reports directly to Admiral Sandecker, the cunning commander of NUMA, & is backed up by the tough, streetwise Al--a childhood friend & partner in undersea adventure for over 20 yrs.

Another Dirk Pitt novel from Cussler. If you're a Dirk Pitt fan, this holds a surprise by the author near the end, so you must check it out. Very intriguing, at least for me who has always believed a bit in Atlantis.
