Interesting book - a departure from Paterson's usual fare. It's definitely geared toward the younger readers - teens and tweens who like something familiar yet different. His characters have real-world issues common to many with the additional burden of being mutants. It's a good read; I'd recommend it for those who enjoy this genre.

Fun book in a fun series. Not Paterson's best works, but I don't think he means them to be. Just a fun ride!
