This book has a collection of stories by a number of well known authors (Whitley Streiber and Bentley Little for instance) and a novella by Stephen King. There is a little something for everyone in this book. It was a bit on the "dark" side in many of the stories but I guess that is what the Borderlands books are known for :)

Stories of Terror and Madness...with a new novella by Stephen King.

"The great thing about this collection is its uniqueness and diversity. Gone are the vampire/werewolf/ghost stories; in place are tales, some supernatural, some horror (and a couple that aren't), about the tricks the human mind can play. Some of these tricks stay within the mind itself; some of them manifest in the physical world, in the way we interpret our surroundings. These stories are psychological horror stories; in my opinion, the best kind." amazon review

I did not like this book so much. I love horror stories and read books by several of these authors regularly, but most of these were pretty dull to read.

This is a great book of short stories. All of them are very strange. None of the stories are published anywhere else. Steven King even has a novella in this book.

A great little anthology--good for flights/layovers. I always read anthologies when I travel---there's something about short stories at 35,000 ft. :)

Really great. Sure the King one is good, but the rest are fabulous too! It's worth it, totally.
