very strange short stories ! some have different twists on old horror themes....some arenew themes on old twists ! it is a good read. i intend to read the others in the series.

this book was originally published as "borderlands #5". it includes an interesting novella by stephen king !!

if you like stephen king & you like movies....you'll really like this book !! it contains 5 of his short stories ( children of the corn - 1408 - the mangler - the shawshank redemption - hearts in atlantis ) that have been adapted for the movies ! new introductions, commentary, & film insights by king. if you saw the movies but havn't read the stories, you're in for a real treat. if you have read them you'll enjoy king's input as you read them again !! personally i think, while there are few great authors in this genre, none do it as well or as disturbingly as king.
