This was a delight! There's no way that this copy is going off my shelf and back into circulation. A KEEPER.

The Duke is a touching story of a young woman's struggle to survive the streets and later the art of courtesan life until she is rescued by the man of her dreams. This book is a fabulous beginning to the Knight series.

Wow, what a great book. The banter between the hero and heroine is great! Hawk is the ideal Duke, to haughty for his own good. When he breaks away from how he thinks a duke should act he begins to enjoy his life.

A very romantic historical Regency. You'll love the Duke of Hawscliffe too, as well as the heroine of the story.
Driven to uncover the truth about the mysterious death of his ladylove, the Duke of Hawscliffe will go to any lengths to unmask the murderer. Even if it means jeopardizing his reputation by engaging in a scadalous affair with London's most provocative courtesan--the desirable but aloof Belinda Hamilton.

Story about a woman in 1800 forced into a undesirable life style. She is not what she seems. The Duke of Hawkscliffe doesn't hesitate to use her to help him catch a murder but in public is she good enough for him? It is a good story full of suspense and romance.
