One of the greatest historical romance novels I have ever read, hands down. I was captivated from the very beginning. Jenny Higgins and her two younger sisters Mary Lou and Brenda have come to Rocky Creek in the search of husbands. More like Jenny is trying to find "suitable men" for her sisters to go off and marry. Well, the ad in the paper that led her there was sadly mistaken, because these men were not "bachelors" or "rich men" but your basic down to earth hard-working men. While Jenny huffs and puffs to try and find them suitable husbands, Mary Lou and Brenda have plans of their own. They don't MEAN to, but they don't exactly agree with who their sister chooses for them and this causes a family argument. The marshal in town, Rhett, has his eyes on Jenny but she completely disregards him because he doesn't mean the "standards" a book by Miss Jenkins has laid out about finding the perfect match. Jenny is hiding something and you are not made aware of this secret until the very end, and trust me, waiting for it is important. This Christian Historical Romance had me on edge the entire time and I would recommend this to anyone. In order to love someone else, you have to love yourself and love God.
