This is the first book by this author and it is an excellent read about a Scottish policeman and the solving of crime committed by a child murderer. I look forward to reading the next book by Stuart MacBride.

This is not a paperback book. It is a hardcover with dust cover and in excellent condition. Not sure why the book type come up paperback.

Excellent telling of tribulations of a midwife and one instance that changed her life forever. It is also a recommended book of Oprah's Book Club.
