I love the story lines for the series of the Psalm 23 Mysteries. BUT apparently Ms. Viguie has started self-publishing. Books 4-7 are self-pubbed. I say all that as a lead into the fact that the editing in these books is horrendous. Bad grammar, almost no commas, no hyphenation (means more pages and more cost), poor wording all distract from the story and detract from the quality. Love the series, hate the new editorial level.

I found this book to be life-changing. Reading it leads you to letting God heal wounds of the past, finding out that you are truly beloved of God and drawing nearer to God in all ways.

I HIGHLY recommend it to all women and to men who want to understand women better.

Concerning the book's content: I'm saddened to know that Debbie has taken to self-publishing the paperback editions of Vol 4-7 of this series. The editing is abysmal. The grammatical mistakes and poor phrasing detract and distract from good storylines. Love the stories, hate the editing.

As an avid fan of Earlene Fowler's Benni Harper series, I wanted to read this book that ISN'T as Benni Harper book. This story is about another set of characters who are well fleshed out in the story. We learn about the troubles and secrets of many of the folks who live in the city of Cardinal. The story contains much of the "family" feel of the Benni Harper books, but with different emotions and actions. The climax surprised me. The ending made me hope Earlene will continue with this as a series. Enjoy!!
