One of the best books for helping you remember what to be thankful for....during times when you can't think of anything.

We know that praising the Lord in our grief is the fastest way to help us remember His presence and His grace. However, we often can't remember what there IS to praise Him for. This is the best book I've ever found for helping me remember what to praise Him for!

It is a very interesting book and great if you need recipes from different countries. But I found the recipes to be very complicated....authentic but complicated.

Excellent intrigue with a Christian base.

This is a FABULOUS book....such a great version of "Left Behind" from the raptured people's perspective. It is also a short, but fascinating synopsis of church history.

I enjoyed this book. I have MANY crockpot recipes and I still found quite a few in this book. Taste of Home is always a good bet.

It was a very interesting book. I did not find many recipes that I would use at this point in my life. However, if I were still homeschooling my son, we would have enjoyed trying some of these based on time and geography studies.

Very cute nitty-gritty cookbook. Not as many recipes but the information about where we get Christmas traditions are excellent!

This was an enjoyable Christian fiction. My Ladies' Christian Book Club enjoyed it. Not your normal predictable ending.

Not actually a cookbook. I know it is all about food but I don't think it should be included in the cookbook genre. It is truly ONLY pictures (photos, paintings, etc) of food.

Much better than the movie....and I liked the movie.

I really enjoyed this book. We just finished it for our Ladies' Christian Book Club. It really draws the essence of the Chronicles and clarifies some points. I enjoyed reading it because it felt like the author and I got together and compared notes on the Chronicles....books we both loved!

So cute! I haven't paid that much attention to the recipes yet but the set up is remarkable....each recipe is written in the style of a different "classic" writer. Very unique!

This book is about the best book for young moms or new grandmoms that I've ever known. I wish for it continually and give it to young mothers. It makes a great Bible study! I've done this for almost 20 years.
