Very entertaining book. Goes into a lot of detail of his early career selling on the boardwalk all the way to his relationship with Johnny Carson. A lot more to this guy than just a chuckling sidekick.

I started reading this book but found Walter's witing style too boring, and stopped. Recently , I read a reference in Andy Rooney's book, "My War" stating that Walter Cronkite was a great reporter but not a great writer. Now I know why.

Well written with lots of details of the "Trial of the Century" but you think she tried the case by herself. She doesn't even mention Chris Darden until about page 220, at least 2/3 the way through the book.
