This a cute story of the coming-of-age struggle. A young girl lives in small town America, where she must face the growing up struggles. She looses her best friend to another girl, and must discover herself, before she can gain another.

Sweet story. Not the best book I've ever read, but it was cute, and got better the more you read.

I've liked everyone of the Harry Potter books. This was truly the first, and was a great read.

Mary must move to a huge estate and meet the master with a crooked back and his ailing son, Colin. She also must join the unit of the family help. She becomes friends with Dickon, and together they search for the secret garden on the grounds. In the process, they become great friends, and help Colin become willing to live and live well.
