I read this book thinking it might be interesting in that I have been actively pro-life for many years and to see another side of the abortion industry and mindset. I also do enjoy mysteries to some degree. However, I found this book a bit too depressing, dark and sexually descriptive for my tastes. I almost didn't finish it, but really hate to "not finish" something. It was not worth my time reading and is one of only a very few books I have not kept after reading, therefore, am listing it on PBS for those that have different opinions as I do!

Great series by Brouwer about youngish kids (12 year olds, but on the mature side) solving mysteries while out having good, clean fun. Great infusion of God and faith in a simple, honest way you want your kids to be. Wonderful read aloud and books you can trust w/ your kids.

Great series by Brouwer. Great kids w/ good morals. Good understanding of God and faith. We have enjoyed all of the Accidental Detectives we have read aloud before bed. Kids love them.

Always good books from tne Adam Raccoon series from author Glen Keane. Great story, great moral of the story, wonderful illustrations. Your kids (and YOU) will love it!

Excellent story by Glen Keane, son of famed cartoonist, Bill Keene. Wonderful moral story with fun, interesting full color illustrations. Books your kids will love to read over and over. We loved these books about Adam Racoon and King Aaron.

This is an excellent dramatization of and end times account. A superb cast of actors takes us to a place called Affabel where King Jalyn rules. We see each of them as they meet challenges in their lives and how they respond. Then we witness each of them in their last moments before the judgement seat and get an interpretation of how our choices in life will affect our greater eternity. Very well done and thought provoking.

Excellent review of how to take care of your books! Whether you are a new collector, or have amassed a literal library, there are tips you will appreciate. From cleaning, repairing to lending (blasphemy!) your books. A small, short, concise, humorous, helpful volume not to be overlooked.

Fun, quick read for kids. We enjoyed the Jigsaw Jones series, all are fun to read w/ good illustrations. Preller does a good job on these.

I struggled to make myself finish this book because there was just so much stuff about himself in most of the book. Also, he talked so much about information to do with finances and lots of numbers tumbling around and facts that I'd have to spend a whole lot of time chasing down to see if they were in fact, facts, that if I wasn't reading it to get back to someone about, I don't know if I would have wanted to finish it. Some good, common sense ideas towards the end, however, some things that raised scarlet flags for me that make me not want to put my trust in this teaching, nor rely on the facts. Easy read of just a few hours is a plus. Much better information out there, however. Several hours I won't get back with only a bit of good information I was already well aware of.

Geary's books are great, wish I had all of them! Fun to read, easy to get thru, helps to remember the details when you have the fun pictures.

Good book, lots of information, more details than I thought I was in for. Easy to read, still in the middle of it, but am enjoying more of the details of Chief Quanah Parker. A different time, for sure.

Excellent book, I always enjoy Max Lucado. But I especially loved the vibrant, beautiful illustrations by Timothy Botts (uncredited). He is a wonderful calligrapher and artist. Makes any book more enjoyable.

Excellent book. Thought provoking, makes you really think deep, not light stuff. Tough to read because it deals with painful situations. Well worth the time. Be sure to open your mind to the possibility of seeing things from a different perspective, not saying its right or wrong, not saying I agree or disagree, just be ready to see things from a different point of view.

This was an excellent book to read shortly after my divorce. Very simply written with short easy to read chapters, it was a quick read, except when I stopped to cry and pray. Not everything applies to every person, but if there are any thoughts to make this time easier, it is worth it. Points you to God as the Source, without preaching or guilt. I'll be reading it again, I'm sure, and loaning it out. Thanks, Sharon for your honesty and candor.
