This was a good book. The ending was not what I expected. Not all that far-fetched if you follow what is happening in some judicial elections.

I generally enjoy Sandford's books so this one is no different in that respect. This is the second Virgil Flower's that I have read. Enjoy this character; somewhat a contrast to Davenport. Not much to add.

This is the first of McCarthy's books I've read. He has a very different writing style from what I am accustomed to. It is rather graphic and violent so be forewarned.

This was the first book by this author that I have read. I found it to be a bit different from some mystery/thriller type novels I often read. Would recommend it as a good summer read. Steve H.
