I love historical fiction. This book pulled me in from the very beginning. Alice Hoffman is a wonderful writer. The Inquisition was an atrocity at every level. I would highly recommend this book to young adults. It give light to an era that is probably overlooked today in many schools.

Fun read. I didn't figure it out until the end. Typical of Agatha. Looking forward to the series on Netflix. Love Rufus Sewell.

This was not one of her best. I couldn't relate to or like any of the characters and thought it to be rather disjointed. I was looking for one of her books to present to my book club but wouldn't recommend although many of our members were "there" during this period of time.
