Have only made one recipe from it so far. Was worried as all the recipes are for 1 or 1.5 lb. loaves and I have a 2 lb. machine... But it came out perfect! NOTE: This is a rather old book and many machines out now (and mine is over 10 years old!) are not listed. But I am confident that I will keep on enjoying this cookbook.

Jan Brett never fails to delight. This is a lovely book that imagines how the human-canine relationship began. A classic to have in your Brett collection.

Another enjoyable Penman romp through the medieval. Story was a bit hard to follow, thus the 4.5 stars.
