I'm not sure why many members are slamming this book. This is a wonderful, inspirational read. I love it. The movie was good too but I think you should read the book first. I think this book can relate to anyone and Gilbert's humor is great. Awesome book, 5 stars

This book is excellent. Extremely well written and the characters seem so alive. Definitely a page turner, recommend to anyone looking for a good read. The movie is great too.

This was a very good read. It was raw, emotional, and well-written. It is so interesting to expierence the stages of grief with Julie Metz. Her daughter, Liza, was also an amazing little girl. Great insight into the human mind and why we make the decisions that we do.

I got 100 pages into the book and gave up on it. There are whole chapters solely about how this guy wants to sex with his soon to be wife and how he wants her naked and "writhing on the floor". Some sexuality in a book is good but this takes it too far, it's to the point where its trashy and the author sounds like a boy dreaming about sex. Would not recommend this book.

This is such an amazing book. My teacher recommended it and upon reading the storyline it seemed like something I wouldnt be interested in. (lobstermen??) But im glad i listened to her. The prologue starts out a little boring but once you get into it the story is very well written and the heroine of the novel, Ruth, is incredibly developed. She is feisty and smart and extremely entertaining. Great read, 5 stars.
