Sackett's Land - first book in the Sackett series. A wonderful book for those who love Louis L'Amour, the Sackett's, and who are interested in history. Set in a time several centuries ago, it deals with geo-political issues of the "Old World", and focuses on some of the issues involved in the early settling of North America by folks from England and the fens.

Bert and Ernie dog-sit for the day, a cute puppy named Hulk. The Sesame Street dog, Barkley, helps them out by playing with and entertaining Hulk with them all day. Dirty dogs get bathed, everyone gets some food and some rest, and then Bert, Ernie and Barkley say good-bye to Hulk as he goes home with his owner.

Olga da Polga is an entertaining book about a Guinea pig that came into the life of the author in 1965 as a birthday present for his daughter. My 6-year-old son enjoyed this as a read aloud. It has just the right amount of pictures for those budding into longer-chapter read-aloud books.

Very enjoyable book. Written like an autobiography, fiction novel of a doctor's wife in western Canada in the late 1800's to early 1900's.

Great book! Best if you have read the previous trilogy. Thomas Covenant, back in the Land, but accompanied unexpectedly accompanied by Linden... who has earth sense, which this time Covenant does not. Great read. Love books by Donaldson.
